As disciplines, Design and Philosophy have much in common - both teach us to work with assumptions, ask critical questions and consider the larger impact of our work. For designers to develop judgement at scale, the ethical impact of our work, how we conduct ourselves and how we align to human purpose has become more urgent than ever.
This workshop demonstrates not only how designers are the best suited to hero this practice in tech, but also how easy it is to bring ethics into the day to day without having to delve deep into philosophical primary texts, making ethics as a form of judgement completely achievable and immediately impactful.
To stay valuable with the rise of AI, and to align with design's purpose, a designer's judgement and critical thinking skills are crucial.
