Outlook: AI

Outlook: AI is a playfully-pragmatic look at the state of AI.

28 October 2026
Melbourne

Our ambition for Outlook: AI is to produce an AI conference unlike any other. A conference that is uniquely The Outlook: a playfully-pragmatic view of the state of AI, and what’s being achieved with the most exciting technology of our lifetime.

I can see this is an artistic or abstract image with swirling motion blur patterns, but it does not appear to be a.Disposition

Signal clarity: Cutting through to what AI is genuinely delivering in real teams right now, and the outcomes to show for it. Where the value is real, and how to see it clearly and early.

Discipline and intent: When we can suddenly make anything, deciding what's worth making becomes the job. How to make your reasoning explicit, defensible, and teachable: why this, for whom, to what end.

I appreciate the image, but this appears to be an aerial photograph of whales in water, not a conference photograph. I.Vantage

Driving, not driven How leaders and builders are making concrete choices about where AI belongs in their work and where it doesn't.

Readiness Around the edges of AI sits an enormous amount of change and human complexity, requiring skills, conditions, and groundwork to move beyond AI for efficiency.

Humans as scale How teams are pairing machine speed with human insight to reach more people, more meaningfully.

Accelerated advantage How leaders and builders are turning thoughtful application into a real, lasting advantage, built on their own strengths and their competitors' gaps.

Presentation brief

202604-DO-Leadership-225

We want this event to be different. Show us how you made your customer measurably better off with AI, in a way that goes beyond doing the same thing faster or cheaper. Think abundance, not scarcity.

How do you make whole teams more effective, not just individuals? What are you doing with the capacity you've won back? What new value are you creating that wasn't possible before? How is the work itself changing? How do you bring real discipline to what you build? And what did you learn the hard way, and change because of it?
