As a Principal Designer at CSIRO’s Data61, Georgina utilises her design expertise and methods gathered over a career of 25+ years to influence outcomes and impact in areas of strategic importance for the national science agency.
During her time with CSIRO Georgina has collaborated with many interdisciplinary science teams to co-create impactful research products and platforms across a range of domains. She also led the Product & Design capability for a number of years, uplifting the profile and maturity of design practice across the organisation.
Prior to CSIRO Georgina had digital design roles across media, telecommunications and consulting with a focus on designing for emerging technologies. Her core competencies include product design, design leadership, and strategic and service design and she employs design approaches across each of these to scale from product level to system level outcomes and impact.
