Angela Bliss is a behavioural scientist and designer with over 20 years of experience working with Australia’s largest businesses and government departments including NAB, MECCA, The Reece Group, Wesfarmers Health, Department of Health (Victoria), Department of Transport (Victoria), Telstra, MYOB, Bunnings, Coles and Nissan.
A former Head of Experience Design at NAB, Angela is a leader in the growing field of behavioural design, combining behavioural science and design to transform services, products and communications. Among her recent high-profile projects are the redesign of the provision of mental health services in Victoria in response to the Royal Commission, the design of MECCA's target state experience, the design of a Fintech start-up for The Reece Group and a new primary healthcare experience for Wesfarmers Health. She is currently consulting into NAB.
Angela is a member of the Global Association of Applied Behavioural Scientists (GAABS) and holds degrees in economics and marketing, and art history. Angela also holds a M.Sc., Behavioural Science (Distinction) from the London School of Economics, where her thesis explored the behavioural design of chatbots.
