Our Ambassadors are advisors and advocates who help accelerate our mission to uplift Australia’s creativity, innovation, and leadership capability. Through this growing group of trusted voices, we stay close to what is emerging and what matters most in the industry, drawing on their distinct personal and professional perspectives.

  • You are enthusiastic about collaborating with others, enjoy being challenged, and are passionate about advocating for causes you believe in.

  • You are able to commit to two years of ambassador responsibilities.

Becoming an Ambassador means joining a group of peers who actively shape and support The Outlook’s programs and community. It’s a collaborative, volunteer-based role that relies on shared enthusiasm, reliability, and care.

I am new to the industry. Can I still apply to be an Ambassador?

Yes! The Outlook respects and celebrates the diversity of career levels and professional perspectives. We believe that people have unique and valuable perspectives to bring to the table, regardless of their seniority or job title.

What are the responsibilities of an Ambassador?

Individuals invited to join The Outlook as an Ambassador agree to commitments that should take an average of 8 hours a quarter. An overview of the role’s expectations include:

  • Promoting The Outlook’s events and efforts to your network via word of mouth and LinkedIn.
  • Come prepared to 90 minute ambassador meetings that occur once every 1 to 3 months, and be an active participant in discussions.
  • Be a jury member for The Outlook Awards in a category related to your discipline.
  • Take ownership of projects or tasks you choose to take on board, follow through and deliver reliably.
  • Attend The Outlook’s events in June.
  • Commit to two years as an ambassador.
How long is does the Ambassador Program go for?

A term of being an Ambassador goes for two years.

Is The Outlook’s Ambassador a paid role?

The Outlook’s Ambassador roles are entirely voluntary, and do not eventuate to a paid role. We are committed to ensuring that, while the role is not a commercial transaction, our Ambassador Program is a mutually beneficial, meaningful and truly impactful experience for our Ambassadors.
