A portrait of Diletta Legowo

Diletta Legowo

Diletta thinks a lot about what it means for people to be free and to feel at home.

For freedom & homes for people in society: Diletta practises as an independent designer and social innovator, bringing a systems view to strategic design, co-design facilitation, and innovation coaching. What sets her apart in this space is her adaptability and agility in traversing the system, working intimately with grassroots communities, intermediaries, and traditional power holders. Her kind, disarming, and culturally sensitive approach to facilitation creates environments where people feel safe and brave to participate in collective learning and experimentation.

She has worked with a range of organisations including The Australian Centre for Social Innovation, Paul Ramsay Foundation, The Australian Volunteers Program, Health Justice Australia, The State Library of Victoria, The Department of Regional New South Wales, RMIT, Deakin University, The City of Melbourne, and Moonee Valley City Council to name a few.

For freedom & homes for people in bodies: Diletta teaches yoga at various studios in the inner-north and is the founder of yogapeople.co, a series of friendly pop-ups welcoming more people to try yoga.

Diletta resides on the unceded Lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation and is a proud member of the Indonesian diaspora, BIPOC, and queer communities.
