Jess is an esteemed principal product designer at Canva and leads the design team for Canva's Video Platform, an award-winning product that boasts 18.6 million monthly users.  

With a strong interest in socially responsible design, she spearheaded the design challenge of reimagining video creation and making it accessible to all. Jess is widely recognised as a leader in the product design industry and was named a finalist in the Amplitude Product 50 "Best Product Design Leader" list. 

Coming from an agency background, Jess is an advocate for design education and simplicity at Canva. She takes on large-scale projects, conducts webinars and workshops, and continually pushes for the importance of design. 

Jess has also been involved in numerous design outreach programs, providing feedback as an industry expert to student projects at prestigious universities such as the University of Technology Sydney, Melbourne University, University of Sydney, and Australian Catholic University.
