Switching from civil engineering into the software world, Matt has always been fascinated by construction tech. With a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s in Software Engineering, he has built a strong foundation in both business and technology.As co‑founder and CEO of BuildPass, Matt spends most of his time on‑site or in conversations with builders and subcontractors, brainstorming smarter ways to streamline construction sites with technology. His approach is grounded in real‑world insights – shaped by the people actually doing the work.

He is obsessed with rapid product development in the age of AI, constantly testing, iterating and deploying features at speed to keep his customers ahead of the curve.

And when he is not immersed in solving industry problems, you’ll usually find him out on the coast, catching waves and clearing his head.
